We are excited to add a new Lead Salesforce Administrator to our Information Technology team! This role will pay a base salary between $93,000k - $128,000k based on experience and other factors.

POSITION SUMMARY:

The Lead Salesforce Administrator is responsible for advanced platform administration, technical oversight, and quality assurance across the Salesforce ecosystem. This role provides critical technical support and platform optimization while ensuring system reliability and governance compliance. The position requires deep technical knowledge across multiple Salesforce clouds and the ability to support business analysts and development teams with technical expertise and quality assurance processes

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

Platform Administration (40%)



  • Administer and maintain Salesforce Sales Cloud and Experience Cloud environments
  • Create and maintain custom objects, fields, and complex data relationships
  • Design and implement automated business processes using various Flow types
  • Build and maintain approval processes for business workflows
  • Configure Salesforce Omni-Channel and routing flows
  • Develop custom reports and dashboards for business intelligence


Platform Quality & Governance and Compliance (25%)



  • Monitor and manage Salesforce governance limits including API calls, data storage, and feature limits
  • Track Salesforce release cycles and evaluate impact on organizational systems
  • Assess new Salesforce features and version upgrades for adoption opportunities and risks
  • Assist in quality assurance testing for platform changes and enhancements
  • Maintain documentation of platform changes and business impact
  • Proactively identify and address potential governance limit issues


Technical Architecture and Integration (20%)



  • Assess Apex development and trigger architecture for business requirements
  • Evaluate Aura Components and Lightning Web Components for solution approaches
  • Configure API integrations, custom applications, and external system connections
  • Implement and maintain OAuth 2.0 and SAML authentication configurations


Business Process and Project Support (15%)



  • Assist with User Acceptance Testing sessions
  • Troubleshoot and resolve production issues
  • Collaborate with development teams on custom development requirements
  • Support SDLC methodologies and deployment processes

  • Performs advanced areas of work for the professional field
  • Identifies key barriers/core problems and applies problem-solving skills in order to deal creatively with complex situations. Troubleshoots and resolves complex problems.

  • Seasoned professional contributor with responsibility for an advanced area of work in the professional field

  • May manage elements/portions of a budget/project



EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE:




  • 5-8+ years of hands-on Salesforce administration experience
  • Proven experience with complex Salesforce implementations
  • Experience with SDLC methodologies (Waterfall and Agile)
  • Experience with project management tools (Jira or equivalent)



SKILLS/COMPETENCIES:

Technical Skills



  • Advanced proficiency in Salesforce Flow Builder (all flow types)
  • Expert level custom object design and data relationship modeling
  • Strong understanding of Apex, Apex Triggers, and development vs. declarative solutions
  • Conceptual understanding of Aura Components and Lightning Web Components
  • Proficient in API integrations and authentication protocols (OAuth 2.0, SAML)
  • Advanced Sales Cloud and Experience Cloud administration
  • Required Territory Management and modeling experience
  • Deep knowledge of Salesforce governance limits and best practices
  • Experience tracking Salesforce release updates and organizational impact


Preferred Qualifications



  • Salesforce Certified Advanced Administrator
  • Salesforce Certified Platform App Builder
  • Additional Salesforce certifications (Sales Cloud, Experience Cloud)
  • Healthcare or life sciences industry experience
  • Experience with Salesforce Maps
  • Understanding of HIPAA and regulatory compliance requirements



WORK ENVIRONMENT/EXPECTED BUSINESS TRAVEL:

Remote with eastern/central time preferred.
