Alumni and Donor Outreach Coordinator

POSITION SPECIFIC SUMMARY: The Tippie College of Business Department of Accounting is seeking to hire an alumni and donor outreach coordinator to support the department's alumni and donor outreach efforts.

KEY AREAS OF RESPONSIBILITIES AND SPECIFIC JOB TASKS

• Coordinate outreach through execution of the donor and alumni communication plan, including social media posts
• Coordinate outreach to Professional Accounting Council and Early Career Professional Accounting Council (advisory boards)
• Write text for donor acknowledgement mailings
• Coordinate with Tippie marketing to focus on department and Tippie communication priorities
• Prepare and execute Fall Professional Accounting Council meetings coordination/communication
• Coordinate alumni outreach
• Develop events to strengthen alumni ties

POSITION QUALIFICATIONS

* Bachelors degree in Marketing, or related field

* Typically 3-5 years experience directing or managing marketing communication

* Excellent written communication

* 5-7 years experience in management or marketing in the education or not-for-profit industries

* Must reside in the state of Iowa

Work Details

* Varies from 5-20 hours per week

* Available to meet in person with department executive officer weekly or biweekly

* Flexible schedule

* Length of appointment is through May 2026 with possible renewal

Wage: $25-35/hour based on experience
