The Opportunity: There's nowhere in the world like Telluride-imagine being the one who brings people together to launch a club that celebrates everything that makes this place extraordinary. We're looking for someone who thrives at the intersection of sales, marketing, and hospitality-a natural connector who embodies the heart of Telluride.

As Membership Director, you'll drive both membership sales and marketing-creating connections, shaping campaigns, and building the community that will define the club's future. This is your chance to pair sales results with creative brand-building in the launch of Telluride's next big destination.

Duties and Functions

Membership Sales & Engagement



  • Develop and execute a membership sales strategy to achieve revenue goals.
  • Generate leads through outreach, referrals, and networking in Telluride and beyond.
  • Host tours, presentations, and experiences that bring the club's vision to life.
  • Sell effectively during pre-opening using renderings, storytelling, and curated activations.
  • Lead a seamless onboarding process that connects new members quickly and ensures long-term satisfaction.


Marketing & Brand Development



  • Partner with corporate marketing, the CMO, and Creative Director to design and execute campaigns across digital, print, email, and social channels, ensuring consistent messaging and brand identity.
  • Build strategic relationships with Telluride businesses, purveyors, and influencers, and manage a local ambassador program to enhance brand visibility and attract members.
  • Oversee production of marketing materials (brochures, event collateral, videos, digital content) and support media initiatives such as press coverage, property tours, photoshoots, and brand collaborations-sharing earned coverage across club-owned platforms.


Community Engagement



  • Leverage Telluride relationships and community insight to connect with prospective members.
  • Organize engaging events and partner with leadership on referral programs and early-adopter opportunities.



Qualification Standards



  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, Hospitality Management, or related field (Master's degree preferred).
  • Minimum 5-7 years of progressive experience in membership sales, hospitality sales, or luxury brand marketing.
  • Proven track record of exceeding sales goals, ideally with high-net-worth individuals or luxury clientele.
  • Strong knowledge of CRM systems, lead management tools, and digital marketing platforms.
  • Exceptional interpersonal and relationship-building skills, with the ability to engage diverse audiences and build long-term loyalty.
  • Excellent communication and presentation abilities, both written and verbal.
  • Demonstrated success in event planning, community engagement, and partnership development.
  • Entrepreneurial mindset with the ability to thrive in a pre-opening/start-up environment.
  • Deep familiarity with Telluride and/or mountain/luxury resort communities strongly preferred.
  • Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays based on business needs.
