Temple University's College of Public Health is searching for a Research Assistant for its Nursing Department!

SALARY RANGE: $18.75 to $20.00 per hour

Position Summary:
The Temple University Department of Nursing seeks (1) part-time research assistant to interview English-speaking survivors of gender-based harm in an upcoming project aimed at testing the feasibility and acceptability of a photography intervention to promote healing engagement.

This is a two-year appointment. You will be trained in the trauma-informed photography method and will deliver the intervention with survivors in-person at community sites. You will also be asked to code and analyze both qualitative and quantitative survivor interview data. Interested candidates should submit a curriculum vitae or resume. Required Education and Experience:
*A minimum of a Bachelor's degree in a related field
*At least six months of relevant work experience is required.
An equivalent combination of education and experience may be considered.

Required Skills and Abilities:
*Experience working in the gender-based violence field
*Experience working with trauma-exposed populations

Preferred Skills and Abilities:
*Experience analyzing quantitative data
*Experience with statistical software
*Experience with qualitative research

Essential duties:
*Interview English-speaking survivors of gender-based violence
*Maintain a survivor-centered and trauma-informed approach when interacting with participants, other research staff, and community organizations.
*Coordinate participant screening and interview scheduling
*Aid in thematic analysis of transcribed interviews.
*Analyze survey data
*Develop research reports and presentations for academic, community, and policy audiences.
*Work collaboratively with Temple faculty and staff.

This position is assigned a hybrid work arrangement (on-campus and remote), the duration of this hybrid work arrangement is at the discretion of Temple University and the Department.
