Summary

OneStream is seeking a skilled and experienced Compliance Analyst with a specialized focus on information systems. The Compliance Analyst will play a crucial role in ensuring the organization adheres to regulatory requirements and industry standards related to information security and data management.

Primary Duties and Responsibilities



  • Assist in the development of policies and procedures to maintain compliance with relevant laws and standards.
  • Liaise with customers, prospects, and internal resources to resolve compliance inquiries.
  • Oversee the compliance mailbox and ancillary support tools.
  • Conduct regular audits and risk assessments of information systems to identify potential issues and recommend corrective actions.
  • Document risks and develop risk mitigation plans and strategies that support an agile, innovative culture.
  • Assist with investigations into potential compliance breaches and work toward timely resolution.
  • Liaise with external auditors and regulatory bodies during compliance audits.
  • Provide expert review and responses to customers, internal teams, and external auditors.
  • Provide guidance and training to internal teams on compliance-related matters, particularly in the context of information systems.
  • Stay current with changes in regulations and industry best practices to continuously enhance compliance programs.
  • Prepare and present reports to senior management, highlighting compliance status, potential risks, and mitigation strategies.
  • Promote a risk-focused culture by leading security training and emphasizing compliance.



Required Education and Experience



  • Bachelor's degree highly desired.
  • 2-4 years of professional experience in compliance, risk management, information security, audit, or business operations.
  • Familiarity with relevant regulations and standards (e.g., NIST, SSAE18, ISO 27001, GDPR).
  • Solid understanding of information security principles and best practices.
  • Experience supporting or contributing to compliance programs and initiatives.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to clearly explain compliance concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
  • Basic knowledge of risk assessment methodologies, frameworks, and procedures, with the willingness to learn and adapt to organizational needs.



Preferred Education and Experience



  • Demonstrated understanding of cloud computing services and deployment architecture.
  • Familiarity with Microsoft Azure.
  • Strong technical background with the ability to work closely with technical teams to implement security controls.
  • Industry-relevant risk and security certifications, such as CISA, CISM, CISSP, or CCSP.
