Summary:

The Technical Writer/Reporter authors reports and documentation to support governance, testing, and stakeholder communication.

*This role is based in Falls Church, VA with possible telework.


Responsibilities

Essential Job Functions:

  • Produce AoA Report, Governance Playbook, and Test Reports
  • Document reusable components and data dictionaries
  • Ensure clarity and compliance in deliverables
  • Support monthly status reporting

Qualifications

Necessary Skills and Knowledge:

  • Strong writing and editing skills, including grammar, clarity, and structure
  • Proficiency in writing in Associated Press (AP) style and web style
  • Ability to translate complex technical or scientific information into plain language
  • Familiarity with content management systems (CMS) and publishing platforms
  • Knowledge of document lifecycle and version control practices
  • Ability to create various content types

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Technical Writing, Communications, or related field
  • Mid-level (3-5 years, 2+ in DoD/healthcare)
  • 3+ years in technical writing
  • Must have the ability to obtain a Public Trust Clearance.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience with DoD documentation standards
  • Familiarity with data governance reporting

Pay and Benefits

The salary range for this position is $110,000 - $135,000 annually.
