Genesis10 is currently seeking a Bilingual HR Business Partner for a 6 month contract to hire role with our client in Elizabeth, NJ. This role is 100% onsite.
The HRBP will split time between two nearby NJ plants, supporting approximately 250 employees - 80% of whom speak Spanish - while working closely with the HR Rep, HRBP, and HR Manager.
Key Responsibilities
Employee Relations & Engagement
- Lead workplace investigations, grievance handling, and performance management cases.
- Apply labor law knowledge to resolve issues effectively and compliantly.
- Proactively identify and address potential employee relations concerns.
- Champion a culture of engagement, safety, and continuous improvement.
HR Generalist Functions
- Support performance management, onboarding, training, talent acquisition, benefits, and compensation processes.
- Partner with leaders to develop employee capabilities and organizational strength.
- Coordinate employee engagement activities and major site events.
- Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws.
Change Management & HR Strategy
- Collaborate with plant leadership to support organizational changes and process improvements.
- Use HR data and metrics to provide decision support and drive accountability.
- Work with HR Centers of Excellence to implement company-wide initiatives at the plant level.
Required:
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Human Resources, or related field.
- 5+ years of HR Generalist or HRBP experience in a manufacturing, logistics, or industrial environment.
- Bilingual fluency in Spanish & English (oral and written).
- Proven expertise in employee relations, investigations, and labor law application.
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced setting.
- Comfort working on the production floor in varying conditions (hot, cold, noisy).
- Proficiency with HRIS and timekeeping systems.
Compensation:
Hourly W2 pay: $50.00 to $55.00/hour
We have access to additional contract, contract-to-hire, and direct hire positions with various rate ranges.
