Sonepar Management Group (SMG) supports our Sonepar brands (i.e. operating companies) in the US through a shared services model. These services include, but are not limited to: human resources, finance, digital enterprise, supply chain, vendor relations, marketing, legal, and communications. The SMG teams enable our brands to do business in their local regions while taking advantage of the scale and collective resources of a global enterprise. SoneparUSA is seeking a Director of Transportation to lead and elevate enterprise-wide transportation performance across a decentralized, multi-operating company (OpCo) network. This is a high-impact leadership role for a transportation professional who thrives in complex environments, influences without authority, and is passionate about continuous improvement, people development, and operational excellence. This leader will shape transportation strategy, optimize fleet and routing performance, strengthen vendor and carrier partnerships, and drive consistent, data-informed execution-while partnering closely with OpCo leaders to improve service, safety, cost, and customer experience.
