Position Overview

We're looking for a Mechanical Production Engineer with a passion for innovation and problem-solving to join our Production Engineering team in Wilton, CT. This role focuses on developing and improving manufacturing processes for new and existing products, while mentoring team members and collaborating across departments.

Key Responsibilities

  • Drive industrialization of systems through cross-functional collaboration.

  • Improve system KPIs: availability, reliability, cycle time, and cost.

  • Troubleshoot production issues and develop actionable solutions.

  • Support design validation and process improvements.

  • Conduct root cause analysis and interface with suppliers and customers.

  • Lead technical concept development and sub-module design.

  • Manage configuration and integration of sub-systems.

  • Contribute to testing and verification of design specifications.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's Degree in Engineering with5+ years of manufacturing experience, or

  • Master's Degree in Engineering with 2+ years of relevant experience.

  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

  • Experience in cross-functional environments and process optimization.

Work Environment & Physical Requirements

  • Cleanroom work under ISO 9000/14000 standards (full gowning required).

  • Occasional lifting/moving of up to 20 lbs.

  • May involve working around lasers, chemicals, and on elevated platforms.

  • Moderate noise and temperature levels.

  • Occasional travel may be required.
