Phillips Medisize, a Molex Company is an end-to-end provider of innovation, development, and manufacturing solutions to the pharmaceutical, diagnostics and medical device industries. Our Phillips, WI location is seeking a Production Support Specialist to support manufacturing of injection molded parts and assembly.

Our Team

The Production Support Specialist will work amongst a team of Operators on 3rd shift (Sun-Thurs 11:00pm-7:00am) + 12% shift premium.

What You Will Do

  • Set up and dismantle auxiliary equipment for material handling in accordance with set-up sheets
  • Maintain active lift certification and safely transport materials as needed
  • Troubleshoot and resolve material handling issues to ensure smooth operations
  • Thoroughly clean workstations at the beginning and end of each shift
  • Operate material handling equipment to support ongoing processes
  • Read, interpret, and follow written procedures accurately
  • Weigh materials precisely to ensure accurate inventory counts
  • Provide support to automatic molding presses as required
  • Retrieve and utilize information from manufacturing systems to optimize workflow
  • Assist in process validation activities
  • Complete all required documentation accurately and promptly
  • Collaborate with the team to ensure proper tagging, labeling, and documentation of inventory throughout the facility
  • Use appropriate terminology to describe part-related issues
  • Actively contribute to continuous improvement, innovation, corrective actions, and customer satisfaction initiatives
  • Safely lift and handle items weighing up to 55 pounds

Who You Are (Basic Qualifications)

  • At least 1 or more years of experience in a production or manufacturing environment
  • Experience using a computer for data entry

What Will Put You Ahead

  • Knowledge of plastics manufacturing systems and procedures
  • Knowledge of lot codes and First-In/First-Out inventory
  • Forklift certification
