Join our dynamic Construction Finance team as a Project Accountant, where your expertise in construction accounting helps ensure the financial success of high-impact projects. What You'll Do:
- Managing the full draw cycle-from setup to reconciliation-including AIA documents and prior estimates
- Coordinating with departments to ensure accurate AR and AP processing
- Coding and processing invoices, monitoring sales/use tax, and issuing timely payments
- Maintaining vendor records, including 1099 tracking and new vendor setup
- Reconciling bank statements monthly and updating job cost/variance reports
- Tracking lien waivers and assisting with external audit requests
- Supporting the Director of Construction Finance & Accounting and Project Finance Manager with additional tasks and reporting
Who We're Looking For:
- Associate's or bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
- 2+ years of accounting experience (construction industry experience highly preferred)
- Proficiency with Microsoft Excel and accounting software (Sage or RealPage preferred)
- Strong communication, organizational, and follow-up skills
- Ability to prioritize effectively, work independently, and maintain confidentiality
