Are you a natural communicator with a passion for creating positive experiences? Gorman & Company is seeking a Communications & Experience Specialist to serve as the voice of our organization, ensuring professional, timely, and solution-focused responses to resident and prospect inquiries. This fully remote role offers the opportunity to work cross-functionally, support our affordable housing communities, and help shape both internal and external engagement.
What You'll Do
In this role, you'll be responsible for managing and enhancing resident and applicant communication channels, handling inquiries with care, and contributing to internal communication strategies.
- Respond to resident and potential resident inquiries via phone, email, and centralized platforms
- Resolve concerns by identifying issues, troubleshooting, and providing thoughtful solutions
- Collaborate with site teams and leadership to manage and resolve complex inquiries
- Track and report on communication metrics and issue resolution status
- Manage and respond to online reviews and social media engagement professionally
- Promote positive resident experiences and encourage online feedback
- Develop and distribute internal communications, including announcements and employee recognition content
- Create engaging content such as memos, articles, graphics, and presentations
What You'll Bring
- High school diploma or equivalent required; Bachelor's degree in communications, marketing, or business preferred
- Prior experience in a customer service, resident services, or communication-focused role
- Familiarity with online content or social media management is a plus
- Strong writing and verbal communication skills with attention to detail
- Proven problem-solving abilities and ability to handle sensitive matters with professionalism
- Experience using CRM or ticketing systems preferred

- Hourly Rate: $25.46 - $38.46 per hour, depending on experience
