Materials Planning Supervisor

Materials Planning Supervisor - 1st Shift (7:00 a.m. - 3:00 p.m.)

Milwaukee Tool is seeking a self-motivated, results driven individual to focus on updating various unit of measures for materials throughout the distribution center and slotting these materials based on their volumes and velocities.

This individual will be a key driver in improving our cycle time for receiving new products into the facility, improving our cycle time for shipping product to the end customer, and improving dimension accuracy for the cartonization of shipments.

Duties and Responsibilities

* Serve as a contact for data entry of all unit of measure requests, including but not limited to, new products on the inbound receiving dock, material kick-offs and weight issues on the outbound shipping dock, and ad hoc requests

*Maintain a daily backlog of zero for items requiring unit of measure updates and forward pick locations

*Works closely with the slotting manager to support data entry needs across multiple teams

* Experience using SQL for reporting purposes and data manipulation is required

*Team player, committed to cross functional collaboration

*Experience using cubiscan to verify dimensions and weights of product

*Ability to lift up to 75 lbs

* Additional responsibilities as requested

Education and Experience Requirements

• Requires a High School Diploma/GED Equivalent
• Knowledge of WMS systems, preferably High Jump
• Proven ability to use problem solving techniques to troubleshoot issues
• Must be able to operate the following equipment: Pallet Jack, Reach Truck, Scissor lift and Order Picker
• Effective verbal and written communication skills
• Experience with Microsoft Office (primarily Word, Excel and SQL)
• Demonstrated knowledge on unit of measure
