Test Technician
Location: Orlando, FL Job ID: #71375 Pay Range: $18-23/hr 12 months Summary: * Perform functional, performance, and environmental tests on electronic components and assemblies. * Assist in developing test procedures, test plans, and documentation for new and existing products. * Operate and maintain lab/test equipment such as oscilloscopes, signal generators, spectrum analyzers, and multimeters. * Record and analyze test data to identify trends, issues, or performance concerns. * Support root cause analysis and corrective actions related to test failures or product defects. * Work closely with design, manufacturing, and quality teams to resolve technical issues. * Maintain detailed and accurate test records, logs, and reports. * Follow safety and ESD protocols in the lab environment. Qualifications: * Familiarity with basic circuit identification and troubleshooting , electrical analysis, ability to us a multimeter * Electrical and electronic principles: Understanding of circuit analysis, electronics, and electrical systems. * Measurement and testing: Familiarity with measurement instruments, testing equipment, and methodologies. * Troubleshooting: Ability to identify and resolve problems with test equipment and systems. * Basic understanding of analog and digital circuit principles. * Familiarity with reading schematics, datasheets, and test documentation. * Hands-on experience with electronic test equipment in a lab or academic setting. * Good troubleshooting and analytical skills. * Clear written and verbal communication skills. * Ability to work well both independently and in a team setting. Preferred Qualifications: * Experience with automated test systems or scripting languages (e.g., Python, LabVIEW, MATLAB). * Exposure to PCB-level debugging and soldering/rework techniques. * Knowledge of product compliance testing (EMC, safety, thermal). * Familiarity with manufacturing test processes and test fixtures. * Understanding of industry standards (IPC, ISO, MIL-STD, etc.).
