Description
SUMMARY

The Production Supervisor is responsible for managing the machine production, shipping department and maintenance department on a daily basis. The Supervisor ensures that all quality, safety and production procedures are followed and that production personnel in their department are trained in the correct use of these procedures.


DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Schedule job orders to ensure there is minimal down time of production maximizing cost efficiency
  • Ensure shipping schedule is planned and executed resulting in consistent on-time deliveries
  • Supervise the maintenance of all machinery including preventive maintenance, predictive maintenance
  • Manage warehouse staff to within budget
  • Warehouse organization to ensure optimal productivity
  • Special projects and assignments as business dictates
  • Responsible for the maintenance, creation and control of all personally identifiable information or any other information protected by any Confidentiality or Privacy Standards or Company Policies that you have access or knowledge of, including but not limited to any state or federal regulations including HIPPA.



SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES

No direct reports



SKILLS AND QUALIFICATIONS

  • 5+ years in corrugated products preferred
  • 5+ years in maintenance management preferred
  • Bilingual preferred
  • Prior experience as a machine operator preferred
  • Proficient with word and excel computer software applications
  • Bachelor degree preferred

  • The noise level can be at times loud. Regular exposure to moving mechanical parts.
