Summary:

In this role, you will be responsible for the successful delivery, operations, and support of services dedicated to improving price accuracy for healthcare providers. You will identify and recommend cost-saving opportunities, strengthen clients' engagement with the Vizient GPO, and boost their overall operational efficiency. You will actively contribute to the technology roadmap and software application design that supports Price Management and Audit & Recovery. You will design and direct audit strategies, workflows, and advanced analytics that proactively detect payment errors and maximize recovery. You will oversee a large, high-performing team of managers, senior analysts and analysts.

Responsibilities:

  • Ensure the successful delivery of Vizient's Price Management and Audit & Recovery services as defined in client agreements.

  • Manage large team of high functioning, efficient and productive managers, sr. analysts, and analysts.

  • Develop and maintain close relationships with dozens of clients, hundreds of suppliers, and dependent departments within Vizient at all levels; leverage these relationships to maintain high client satisfaction levels.

  • Collaborate with suppliers and internal stakeholders to negotiate and secure timely credits, refunds, or reimbursements related to confirmed overpayments.

  • Define, implement, and execute the overall price management strategy and associated processes.

  • Define operational metrics and hold staff accountable to these metrics.

  • Identify and execute opportunities to increase staff productivity and efficiency.

  • Identify opportunities to expand and improve existing services to provide further value to clients.

  • Coordinate with IT/Product Management to resolve application bugs and communicate enhancement requests.

  • Ensure clients have a high degree of satisfaction with the services to which they are subscribed.

  • Promote and educate clients and Vizient client management on services provided, as well as reports, reporting standards, and "self-serve" tools available to minimize the number of ad-hoc and special report requests.

Qualifications:

  • Relevant degree preferred.

  • 7 or more years of relevant work experience required.

  • Knowledge of GPO's, supply chain processes, purchasing data, auditing invoice overpayments and collecting credits and refunds, the different ERP systems used in healthcare, and contracts/tiers/pricing preferred.

  • Experience managing a team of 15-20 high performing employees preferred.

  • Understanding of healthcare providers and suppliers as well as their relationships with each other a plus.

  • Strong analytical skills desired.

  • Experience with SQL Server Management Studio, Excel, and Microsoft Access a plus.

Estimated Hiring Range:

At Vizient, we consider skills, experience, and organizational needs in our compensation approach. Geographic factors may adjust the range estimate and hires typically fall below the top range. Compensation decisions are tailored to individual circumstances. The current salary range for this role is $88,900.00 to $155,500.00.

This position is also incentive eligible.
