OverviewThe Azure Core Compute team is building the next generation of cloud infrastructure that powers Microsoft Azure. We are seeking a Senior Technical Program Manager to lead high-impact initiatives that shape the architecture, scalability, and reliability of our distributed systems platform. ResponsibilitiesProvide technical leadership across Azure Compute by identifying architectural gaps, scaling challenges, and opportunities for innovation.Drive the design and delivery of platform-wide initiatives that improve system reliability, performance, and operational efficiency.Partner with engineering and product leaders to align technical strategy with customer and business priorities.Take a structural approach in solving complex problems. Communicate to senior decision makers in a clear and compelling way.Stellar cross group collaboration, able to drive decisive action in partnership with others in a large & diverse organization and deliver results that depend on the broader Microsoft organization.Define targets for key business KPIs, and track and report progress on them.Help lead and champion a team culture that embraces diversity.The right candidate is data-driven and someone who thrives on Microsoft's leadership principles; provides clarity, generates excitement, and makes things happen.
