We are seeking a dynamic and forward-thinking Sr. Vice President Business Planning & Analysis Manager to join our Finance team. This role is located in New York, NY. In this role, you'll make an impact in the following ways:
- Strategic Leadership: Collaborate with senior executives to design and execute the company's financial strategy, ensuring alignment with broader business objectives.
- Budgeting and Forecasting: Oversee the preparation and refinement of annual budgets and long-term forecasts, ensuring they reflect the organization's strategic priorities and operational needs.
- Financial Analysis: Conduct in-depth financial reviews to identify trends, risks, and opportunities, delivering insights that drive actionable results.
- Reporting: Create and present clear, data-driven financial reports to senior management, board members, and external stakeholders.
- Decision Support: Develop and maintain sophisticated financial models to assist with scenario planning, investment decisions, and strategic initiatives.
- Process Improvement: Identify and implement enhancements to FP&A processes, driving efficiency and scalability within the team.
- Team Development: Lead and mentor FP&A team members, fostering their growth and creating a collaborative, high-performing team culture.
To be successful in this role, we're seeking the following:
- Education: Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related field. An MBA, CPA, or CFA certification is preferred.
- Experience: At least 6-8 years of progressive experience in FP&A or corporate finance, with a proven ability to take on increasing levels of responsibility. Experience in a high-growth or complex organizational environment is advantageous.
- Analytical Expertise: Exceptional analytical and critical thinking skills, with the ability to interpret complex financial data and provide actionable insights.
- Technical Proficiency: Mastery of financial modeling and analysis tools, with proficiency in financial software such as SAP, Oracle, Tableau, or Power BI.
- Leadership Skills: Strong leadership abilities, with a track record of building and developing high-performing teams and cultivating cross-functional relationships.
- Communication Excellence: Superior presentation and communication skills, capable of delivering clear and impactful messages to both financial and non-financial audiences.
- Adaptability: A proactive and flexible mindset, comfortable navigating ambiguity and the fast-changing dynamics of a growing business.

The base salary for this position is expected to be between $102,000 and $221,000 per year at the commencement of employment. However, base salary if hired will be determined on an individualized basis, including as to experience and market location, and is only part of the BNY total compensation package, which, depending on the position, may also include commission earnings, discretionary bonuses, short and long-term incentive packages, and Company-sponsored benefit programs.
This position is at-will and the Company reserves the right to modify base salary (as well as any other discretionary payment or compensation) at any time, including for reasons related to individual performance, change in geographic location, Company or individual department/team performance, and market factors.
