This is a 100% Limited position for 1 year with the possibility of extension or conversion to career status. The Taiwan Studies Research Associate will work closely with the Co-Directors of the Center for Taiwan Studies to provide research support on case studies, policy briefs, and other analytical communication products. This position will perform a variety of tasks in support of the Center including research and data analysis, producing drafts, and providing research presentation. The position will also provide work direction to affiliated graduate students supported by the Center. The majority of the work will be to support the Center's research, publication, and program activity including:
Pay Transparency Act Annual Full Pay Range: $60,260 - $96,936 (will be prorated if the appointment percentage is less than 100%) Hourly Equivalent: $28.86 - $46.43 Factors in determining the appropriate compensation for a role include experience, skills, knowledge, abilities, education, licensure and certifications, and other business and organizational needs. The Hiring Pay Scale referenced in the job posting is the budgeted salary or hourly range that the University reasonably expects to pay for this position. The Annual Full Pay Range may be broader than what the University anticipates to pay for this position, based on internal equity, budget, and collective bargaining agreements (when applicable).
