Allied Universal is hiring an Account Manager. As an Account Manager, you are the driving force behind daily security operations, ensuring the safety and well-being of the people and places you protect. You will lead from the front-guiding, developing, and motivating your team of security officers and supervisors to deliver exceptional service. RESPONSIBILITIES: - Manage scheduling: Leverage AI-powered technology to effectively schedule security officers, meeting client contract hours while minimizing unbilled overtime
- Lead and Develop Security Teams: Hire, coach and manage security officers and supervisors while overseeing payroll, performance, and employee relations
- Enhance Client Relationships: Serve as the primary point of contact for clients, ensuring high-quality service that protects people and property
- Handle Security Incidents and Emergencies: Respond to escalated issues professionally, coordinating with clients and internal teams
- Direct Compliance and Security Operational Excellence: Oversee training, safety, and site operational standards as well as managing inventory (uniforms, equipment, and other essential supplies)
QUALIFICATIONS (MUST HAVE): - High school diploma or equivalent
- Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment
- Valid driver's license if driving a company vehicle, or personal vehicle while conducting business
- Minimum of two (2) years of experience in business operations, security management, or supervising teams in a fast-paced environment
- Previous contract Security, facilities management, military (honorable discharge), or law enforcement experience
Previous leadership experience Possess effective verbal, written and interpersonal communication skills Previous formal training in management, human relations, interpersonal communication skills, labor and criminal laws, and emergency response Availability to work a flexible Schedule including weekends as needed - Experience in leading, developing, and retaining a dynamic team while building positive client relationships
- Crisis management experience and knowledge of emergency preparedness, physical security protocols, risk assessments, and law enforcement coordination
- Proven ability to evaluate situations, make sound independent decisions, and resolve conflicts in an efficient manner
- Proficiency in web-based applications and computer systems, including Microsoft Office
- Ability to communicate effectively with clients and employees while managing multiple projects and driving operational excellence
- Financial acumen; able to manage staffing levels while minimizing non-billed overtime and managing turnover costs; planning and organizing skills to control costs related to inventory (uniforms, equipment, etc.)
An associate's or higher degree from an accredited college or university in a security related field such as: Criminal Justice, Security Administration, Homeland Security, or Fire Science. Such degree will count as two (2) of the five (5) years required experience. Documented instructor certification through a certifying agency (Unarmed Guard Trainer, CPR). Demonstrated experience with analyzing information, staffing coordination, tracking budget expenses, scheduling, and dealing with complexity. Minimum of 4 years' experience in one of or a combination of the following: Military (Career/Military Police/Military Elite Forces) Law Enforcement (Police Academy Graduate) Correctional Facility (Correction Officer) Documented, formal, leadership training through one of the disciplines or accredited university programs (PLDC/BNCOC/ANCOC, OBC/OAC, LEELP). Experience as a current security supervisor assigned to the Wells Fargo account, or at a facility requiring a high level of security similar to existing positions at Wells Fargo A bachelor's or higher degree from an accredited college or university in a security-related field such as: Criminal Justice, Security Administration, Homeland Security, or Fire Science. Such degree will count as two (2) of the four (4) years required experience and a master's degree will count as three (3) of the four (4) years required experience.
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS (NICE TO HAVE): - College degree in Business Administration or a law enforcement-related field
- Law enforcement, military, and/or contract or proprietary security services, or facility management experience
- American Society of Industrial Security (ASIS), International Certified Protection Professional (CPP) certification
- Previous payroll, billing, or scheduling experience
- Aptitude with security systems: CCTV, access control, and badge administration
- Graduate of certified public safety academy (e.g., Law Enforcement, Firefighter/Paramedic, Corrections Officer)
- Experience as a security officer in a high security location such as a nuclear, TSA screening, pharmaceutical, or medical facility
