Duties:

Responsible for the design, development and maintenance of new and existing automation frameworks, continued evaluation of test cases for inclusion in test regression, tests coverage and automation of newly implemented functionality, and development of tools to enable acceptance test efficiencies. Work in an Agile team throughout the Software Development Lifecycle to collaborate on the analysis, design, development and testing. Actively participate in Sprint planning sessions to create stories with robust acceptance criteria, while helping identify missing or incomplete requirements. Actively participate in all testing phases within the Sprint from test planning, test execution, defect management and Sprint closure. Define test strategy, conduct requirements analysis for testability, identify scope, conduct risk and mitigation planning, configuration management planning, and write master and detailed test plans for test planning and design. Create, maintain and execute automation test plans, writing code against software platforms, estimating testing efforts, analyzing and communicating test results, defect tracking and participation in day-to-day acceptance test activities, and contribute to the company's performance and scalability testing efforts. Develop, enhance and extend automation frameworks. Identify quality tasks during team Sprint cycle and implement automation for new features. Analyze and communicate test results and defect tracking. Assist in the planning, creation and control of the test environments and test data. Participate in the review of acceptance test procedures and processes and provide recommendations for improvements to eliminate redundancies in testing and improve efficiency. Utilize Cucumber's BDD Gherkin syntax to develop comprehensive test scenarios, conduct functional and regression testing for Tableau reports, and develop a Python automation framework for ODS vs. PostgreSQL report comparison, enhancing efficiency and maintaining data integrity. Configure and optimize the Ververica Platform for Flink deployment, with a focus on enhancing Kafka data ingestion and operational efficiency and implement efficient data ingestion processes for day 0 and day 1 clearing applications, ensuring seamless data flow and reliability. Conduct functional and regression testing for Tableau reports to guarantee accurate data visualization and report reliability, and orchestrate and implement UC4 workflows to automate IT processes, resulting in substantial efficiency gains. Manage deployments for all applications within the data pillar, ensuring smooth and efficient releases using DevOps tools and practices, including tools like Harness, Rancher, Jenkins, and CI/CD pipelines to automate and streamline deployment processes. Address and resolve application/service-related issues by collaborating closely with developers to troubleshoot, implement fixes, and update services, utilizing tools such as HashiCorp Vault for secure configuration management. Education & Experience Required:

Master's degree in computer science, business analytics, or related and three (3) years of experience as a test engineer, data analyst, or related

  • The salary range listed for any given position is exclusive of fringe benefits and potential bonuses. If hired at OCC, your final base salary compensation will be determined by factors such as skills, experience and/or education.
