The Global Media COE (Center of Excellence) team at Lenovo is looking to accelerate Lenovo into an innovative marketer by building an in-house/agency hybrid model in all geos. As part of this goal, the NA Marketing team is building an in-house media team to manage media planning and strategy for North America Consumer and Commercial Marketing. The team is seeking a Media Planner for Paid Social to drive smart and effective media plans to support Lenovo's Consumer and Commercial businesses.

We're looking for a results-driven Paid Social Media Planner to lead the strategy and planning of paid campaigns across social platforms. This individual will play a key role in driving customer acquisition, brand awareness, and revenue through paid media strategies that are performance-focused and data-driven.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop paid social strategies across platforms including Meta, TikTok, LinkedIn, Pinterest, X, and others.
  • Translate marketing goals into actional paid media plans with measurable KPI's.
  • Conduct audience segmentation, targeting, and budget forecasting.
  • Build strong relationships with Lenovo's key paid social media partners.
  • Recommend media mix, budget allocations, and timing strategies for paid social campaigns.
  • Present plans, rationale, and performance reports to internal stakeholders.
  • Stay current on social media trends, technologies, and tools to inform planning and innovation.
  • Drive testing roadmap to ensure we're maintaining a test and learn strategy with new opportunities at the forefront.

Required Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, Advertising, or related field.
  • 3-5 years of experience in paid social media planning, media buying, or paid social media strategy in the technology vertical
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Proficiency in Meta Ads Manager, LinkedIn Campaign Manager, TikTok Ads and similar platforms
  • Strong analytical skills, with experience using data to inform media strategy and decision-making
  • Strong understanding of funnel-based marketing, attribution, and analytics
  • Excels at managing multiple initiatives simultaneously within tight deadlines
  • Excellent communication, presentation, and stakeholder management skills
  • Experience working within a very large, fast-moving organization with many internal and external stakeholders is a bonus
  • Strong verbal/written communication
  • Exceptional analytical, problem solving, critical thinking and data visualization skills
  • Strong project management skills, with the ability to manage budgets, resources, and timelines effectively

The base salary budgeted range for this position is $85k-110k. Individuals may also be considered for bonus and/or commission.
