Part-Time Senior Environmental Program Analyst
Job Description Dewberry is seeking a Part-Time Senior Environmental Program Analyst in Parsippany, NJ. This position requires 20+ years of specialized experience in HUD's Community Based Disaster Recovery grant programs, and in the interpretation and application of State and federal environmental laws.The successful candidate will be recognized nationally for excellence in NEPA compliance, disaster recovery, cross-agency coordination and tiered environmental assessments and environmental impact statements. The position requires an individual with proven ability to provide strategic direction to a disaster recovery environmental review program, and successfully guide teams through the process of establishing an environmentally compliant environmental review program and NEPA and HUD compliant environmental reviews. Additionaly, demonstrated experience with Community Development Block Grants-Disaster Recovery (CDBG-DR), programs and compliance with National Environmental Policy Act (NEPA) and HUD's environmental regulations at 24 CFR *51, *55 and *58 ("HUD regulations") is a must. Provide monitoring, oversight and technical assistance to teams engaged in the preparation of the Draft and Final Environmental Impact Statements (EIS), tiered and non-tiered environmental assessments, and categorical exclusions.
