The salary range for this position takes into account the wide range of factors that are considered in making compensation decisions including but not limited to skill sets; experience and training; licensure and certifications; and other business and organizational needs.

At WGU, it is not typical for an individual to be hired at or near the top of the range for their position, and compensation decisions are dependent on the facts and circumstances of each case. A reasonable estimate of the current range is:

Grade: Services 204 Pay Range: $18.79 - $27.25

Job Description

This position is currently anticipated to pay $20/hour for a new WGU hire.

Job Qualifications:

  • College degree helpful, high school diploma or equivalencymandatory
  • One year experience in a customer service-related field
  • Three years' experience with Microsoft products, software and database management with at least one year required
  • Demonstrated success with project completion
  • Able to sit or stand for prolonged periods working at a computer
  • Adapt schedule for nights/weekends as necessary
  • Available to travel approximately 5% of time

Essential Functions and Responsibilities:

  • Adhere to Quality Assurance standards for the Field Experience Department and uphold Field Experience Department service level agreements (SLAs)
  • Produce, distribute, and assist with analysis of statistical reports and dashboards
  • Manage email communications for WGU stakeholders, students, clinical supervisors, and host teachers
  • Participate in cross-functional collaboration with other departments
  • Correspond via phone and email with mentors, students, host teachers, clinical supervisors, and WGU stakeholders
  • Conduct data checks and assist with finding/researching problems
  • Provide support and create reports for projects regarding data collection and accreditation
  • Examine existing and proposed processes and propose process improvements
  • Assist with implementation of process changes and audits
  • Respond to changing requirements, priorities, and deadlines in timely manner
  • Maintain and administer the Student Relationship Management software system (SRM), SharePoint
  • Assist with general organization of critical student, clinical supervisor, and host teacher data
  • Assist with historical records for the Field Experiences Team in electronic document storage site
  • Complete additional duties and tasks as assigned by manager

Knowledge, Skill and Abilities:

  • Competent with data analysis, Outlook email and calendar, MS Office suite, and database, or equivalent experience
  • Outstanding attention to detail and organizational skills
  • Ability to provide accurate information and high-quality customer service at all times with WGU staff, students, and stakeholders
  • Able to work well within a team, but also be independent enough to work well alone
  • Adept with the use of technology; demonstrate database implementation and ongoing management
  • Strong verbal and written skills with ability to present information clearly, concisely, and accurately
  • Able to multi-task and work on multiple projects simultaneously as needed
  • Excellent interpersonal, communication and conflict resolution skills
  • Ability to conduct research and draw valid conclusions

Position & Application Details
