$20.94 to $23.03 hourly. Actual salary negotiable based on experience and qualifications. Government Center/Viera. Work schedule is Monday through Friday 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. Performs experienced para-professional work planning, organizing, and coordinating projects relating to the development of County and/or community resources for the Public Works Department.



REQUIREMENTS: Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Public Administration, Political Science, Social Science, English, a field related to the area of assignment, or a closely related field. Additional qualifying education and/or experience may be substituted on a year for year basis. SPECIAL REQUIREMENTS: Must possess, or obtain prior to employment, a valid Florida driver's license and maintain said license during the term of employment. Must have experience using Microsoft Excel for construction estimating and project tracking, including proficiency in developing and implementing Excel formulas and functions for accurate cost calculations and data analysis. Experience in data validation to ensure the accuracy and consistency of estimates, as well as the ability to use pivot tables to extract relevant data and create charts and graphs is preferred. Experience with construction and/or financial software used for managing construction projects, specifically in areas such as invoicing, tracking, measuring, budgeting, purchase orders, and change orders is preferred. In the event of a hurricane, major storm, natural or man-made disaster that may threaten the area, the employee will be required to perform emergency duties as directed.
