Are you ready to embark on an exciting opportunity as a
TES Aircraft Dispatcher? We are currently seeking qualified candidates to fill this essential role within our School of Aviation at Auburn University.
The chosen candidate will facilitate the dispatching of aircraft and flight training devices used by Auburn University School of Aviation and its Department of Professional Flight, to include the reporting and tracking of aircraft maintenance events.
- Operational hours extend from 4:30am-9:00pm Monday-Saturday; candidate MUST be available to work some Saturdays.
Temporary Employment Services (
TES), a unit of the Auburn University Department of Human Resources, is an in-house support center established to meet the temporary employment needs of the university.
TES provides qualified and dedicated temporary employees in a wide variety of occupations to meet the staffing needs throughout the campus. Temporary employees are hired for a variety of reasons with the most common being:
- Assistance in the place of a regular employee who is absent for a specified period of time
- Additional assistance during periods of abnormal or peak workloads
- Assistance with special projects
- Seasonal work
- Emergencies

Essential Functions |
- Dispatches laboratory training flights in accordance with the published daily schedule in coordination with flight laboratory instructors and leadership.
- Assigns resources necessary to support flight training lessons.
- Ensures accurate aircraft status is displayed in the computer-based management system.
- Assists with student records management and other record-keeping and data collection tasks.
- Assists in tracking inventory of training materials and supplies.
- Must maintain clear communication to aircraft personnel.
- Assists in filling student orders for training materials.
- Assists with Saturday flight shuttle, as needed.
- Other job duties as assigned.

Minimum Qualifications |
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, time-sensitive and highly variable work environment with a customer service focus.

Desired Qualifications |
Experience with iOS and Microsoft Office is strongly desired. |
