About the opportunity

The Senior Business Applications Analyst will play a critical role in supporting and enhancing the suite of enterprise applications that power our daily operations. This includes platforms used for collaboration, learning, IT service management, work management, and more.

This role requires a versatile and adaptable analyst who can provide configuration, support, and enhancement services across a diverse portfolio of systems. You will work closely with business users and technical teams to ensure applications meet evolving business needs through effective administration, troubleshooting, and solution development.

The ideal candidate brings a strong foundation in application management and problem solving, combined with curiosity and a desire to continuously learn and apply new technologies. Comfortable working in a highly collaborative team and effective in a constantly evolving technology environment. Naturally and innately curious, a lifelong learner.

What you will accomplish

  • Act as a primary point of contact for application support, troubleshooting issues, managing configuration, and ensuring reliable daily operation across enterprise systems (e.g., Smartsheet, Freshservice, Microsoft 365, learning management systems, and others).
  • Configure, customize, and maintain applications to align with business requirements, including user access, workflows, forms, notifications, and integrations.
  • Partner with business users to gather requirements, design solutions, and deliver enhancements or new functionality using low-code/no-code or platform-native tools.
  • Serve as a liaison between business teams and technical resources (internal or vendor-provided) to diagnose and resolve complex issues.
  • Leverage vendor documentation and technical resources to research, learn, and apply advanced configuration options and best practices.
  • Maintain and update application documentation, configuration records, and end-user guides.
  • Provide user support, training, and communications to promote adoption and optimize usage of enterprise applications.
  • Identify opportunities for automation, process improvement, and improved user experiences across supported platforms.
  • Participate in planning, testing, and implementing application upgrades and new releases.

Experience and qualifications for success

  • Bachelor's degree, relevant certifications, or equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Minimum of 8 years of relevant experience.
  • 4+ years of experience supporting and administering enterprise applications.
  • Strong understanding of general application management concepts, including configuration, permissions, forms, workflows, and user support.
  • Demonstrated ability to learn and support a variety of application platforms.
  • Familiarity with low-code/no-code development approaches and common automation practices.
  • Excellent troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills, with ability to translate technical concepts to non-technical users.
  • Collaborative and customer-oriented mindset.
  • Comfort reading technical documentation and interfacing with vendor or IT support teams to resolve issues.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience with SaaS enterprise business platforms such as Smartsheet, Microsoft 365, Freshservice, or similar.
  • Exposure to API-based integrations and reporting/dashboarding tools.
  • Understanding of IT governance, security, and best practices for managing enterprise applications.

An employee in this corporate based position can expect a pay rate of $89,856-$116,812/year. Actual pay within this range may depend on experience, qualifications, geographic location, client requirements where applicable, and other factors permitted by law. Regular-status employees are also eligible for performance bonuses.
