Early Childhood Program Manager

Responsibilities:

  • Train and guide educators as they develop and implement daily schedules and lesson plans consistent with our mission and national standards

  • Serves as a role model for teaching staff by demonstrating effective techniques to build and maintain strong partnerships with parents.

  • Foster positive, professional, and respectful relationships with colleagues, families, and staff

Qualifications:

Candidates must pass required state and company background checks, and meet state and company minimum education and experience requirements:

  • CDA with an educational plan to complete an associate degree within 5 years is required

  • Associate or higher degree in early childhood education or related field is preferred

  • At least two years of professional teaching experience is required

  • Leadership experience is preferred

Physical Requirements:

This position requires the employee to comply with all applicable federal, state, local, Bright Horizons', and client site requirements concerning immunizations, employment physical/screening, and health and safety training. If hired, you will work in person in an early education/preschool child care center.

  • Must meet state, federal and Bright Horizons' guidelines regarding immunizations, employment physical, and required health and safety training and practices.

  • Must maintain mental and physical alertness and an appropriate level of energy to perform essential job requirements. Must respond immediately and appropriately to multiple or unexpected situations or emergencies.

  • Must demonstrate full range of motion to lift, reach, squat, climb, sit, and otherwise fully participate in activities.

  • Must be able to frequently lift, move, or hold children with a range of weight from 10 to 40 pounds. Occasionally lift, hold or move weight more than 40 lbs.

Compensation:

The annual salary for this position is between $43,000 - $50,000 / annually. The pay range listed here is what Bright Horizons in good faith anticipates offering for this job opening. Actual compensation offers within this range will depend on a variety of factors including experience, education and training, certifications, geography, and other relevant business or organizational factors.

This position is also eligible for a hiring incentive of $1,250.00 Full Time or $750.00 Part Time payable upon 100 days of employment.
