How You'll Make an Impact As a Senior Talent Acquisition Specialist, you'll bring a hands-on, collaborative approach to full-cycle recruiting-owning searches for highly technical, operational, and senior leadership roles. You'll be a go-to partner for hiring managers, delivering high-impact results while ensuring every candidate has a positive, human-centered experience.
You'll also love contributing, improving and supporting a variety of recruiting functions, tools, and processes, giving you the opportunity to be a key player in scaling a growing and evolving Talent Acquisition team.
Duties and Responsibilities
  • Lead and manage full-cycle recruiting for a range of positions including highly technical, operations, and senior-level leadership roles, with a focus on engineering, planning, environmental, and corporate services disciplines
  • Serve as an employer brand ambassador, showcasing the firm's culture, values, and growth opportunities through storytelling, social media engagement, and outreach campaigns.
  • Track labor market and talent trends to continually refine recruiting strategies and introduce new tools or practices to the team.
  • Maintain accurate records and workflows in the applicant tracking system (ATS) to support process consistency, compliance, and reporting needs.
  • Ensure seamless, personalized candidate experiences with timely communication, clear expectations, and thoughtful coordination at every stage of the process.
  • Manage requisitions providing consistent communication, balancing speed and priorities, compliance, and candidate experience in a fast-paced environment.
  • Write compelling job postings and candidate messaging that cut through the noise in a competitive talent market.
  • Develop and implement data-informed, innovative sourcing strategies to engage active and passive talent-leveraging tools like LinkedIn Recruiter, Boolean search, niche boards, AI tools, and targeted outreach campaigns.
  • Build trusted partnerships with hiring managers and HR colleagues to deeply understand hiring needs, shape strategy, and align recruiting efforts with business goals.
Minimum Qualifications
  • 12+ years of full-cycle recruiting experience, in the AEC, engineering, or technical/professional services industries.
  • Associates or Bachelor's degree in human resources or related field and/or equivalent years of experience.
  • Proven success sourcing and hiring across a range of levels-including technical staff, project managers, and executive leadership.
  • Creative and strategic thinker with a forward-looking, solutions-oriented mindset.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Strong sourcing capabilities: skilled in LinkedIn Recruiter, Boolean searches, social media sourcing, and proactive pipeline development.
  • Comfortable navigating complex environments, managing multiple searches while maintaining attention to detail and candidate quality.
  • A collaborative, consultative approach-able to coach hiring managers, influence decisions, and drive strong outcomes.
  • Clear communicator with strong writing skills-especially in crafting job ads and candidate messaging.
Compensation: $90,000-$115,000 annually
  • *Final agreed-upon compensation will be based on a variety of factors including, but not limited to, an individual's related experience, education, certifications, skills, and work location. Successful candidates must pass a pre-employment drug test and background check prior to beginning employment.
