Carter Machinery Company, the authorized Caterpillar dealer serving Virginia, West Virginia, Maryland, Delaware and Washington D.C. is hiring a Quality Technician in Richmond, Virginia. The Quality Technician is responsible for providing ownership and oversight for all operational quality related aspects of the Service operation within and/or associated with their assigned area. This includes providing support to all interdepartmental operations along with outlying stores for any quality related event associated to their assigned operation. Seeking candidates with In-depth industry product knowledge and experience; Related hands-on experience in maintenance, repair and/or rebuilding of components and machines in the heavy equipment industry; Service Technician or Reconditioning operational background preferred; High school diploma or equivalent.
Requirements for the Quality Technician position include:
Physical requirements must be met for the Quality Technician job, including regularly being required to stand; walk; use hands to finger, handle, or feel; reach with hands and arms; climb or balance; stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl and talk or hear. The employee is frequently required to sit. The employee must regularly lift and /or move up to 45 pounds. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision and ability to adjust focus. This job description is not intended to be all-inclusive.
