Norton Rose Fulbright has an immediate need for a Client Relations Assistant to support our dynamic and high-performing client team. This role offers a fantastic opportunity for a bright, organized individual who is interested in learning more about client development and relationship/account management. This position will work closely with the client team, as well as lawyers and colleagues in other business service teams.

We offer the flexibility to work remotely on a regular basis and will require your presence in the office from time to time pursuant to the firm's hybrid work policy. This role can be based in Austin, Dallas, Houston, or San Antonio, Texas.

Responsibilities include but are not limited to:

  • Assisting the team in producing regular client reports, presentations and financial analysis

  • Tracking client, program and sales pipeline progress against targets and other reporting requirements as required

  • Researching the client organization and key client contacts for planning and relationship mapping purposes

  • Working closely with the relevant industry/practice business development teams to help the client team to stay up to date with the firm's client campaigns and service offerings

  • Supporting the client managers and strategic bids team on client panel pitches and major Request For Proposals (RFPs)

  • Updating and maintaining client program and individual client pages on the intranet

  • Maintaining relevant client team email groups

  • Assisting the client team in tracking matters for post-matter feedback and identifying client contacts to be approached for Client Satisfaction Interviews and assisting with follow up

  • Assisting with internal client feedback reporting

  • Supporting client relationship managers in tracking and reporting client engagement initiatives and activities

  • Supporting client relationship managers in transcribing key meetings with relevant client relationship team stakeholders

  • Providing administrative support to both client team members as well as relevant law firm partners for ad hoc projects

  • Assisting with relevant client events and providing on-site support as necessary

Qualifications and Experience:

  • Bachelor's degree required

  • Minimum of one year of experience, preferably in professional services environment

  • Consulting, corporate or law firm experience a plus

  • Hands-on experience using all programs under the Microsoft Suite (including direct experience with PowerPoint and functions within Excel)

  • Good attention to detail

  • Proactive, action-oriented and willing to take initiative

  • Practical and efficient with strong organizational skills

  • Excellent written and spoken communication skills

  • Collaborative and enjoys working as part of a high-performing team

  • A strong interest in learning more about professional services business and client development

  • Ability to problem-solve and approach projects with a growth mindset

  • Ability to build relationships across teams with both marketing teammates and lawyers
