Location: Naugatuck, CT (ADI) - How will you CONTRIBUTE and GROW? If you're looking for dry ice, you'll find it with Airgas. We invite you to join the Airgas team as a Class B Delivery Driver for Naugatuck, CT.Expectations and Responsibilities: Day shift, night shift and weekend availability is required as needed to cover colleagues/business shift needs. Ability to travel 25%-50% of the time within the region including layovers with 1-2 weeks prior notice. When travel is expected, Airgas will pay for any hotel accommodations, flights or car rentals. All ADI trucks are day cabs, there is no expectancy for layovers in sleeper cabs. Conduct pre-trip and post-trip evaluation and complete all required documentation of the assigned vehicle on a daily basis, following the company operation procedure. Execute scheduled route and service plans. Maintains professional demeanor, and customer service orientation in daily service to customers. Completes logs and reports as requested. Maintains basic records of truck mileage, deliveries made, and other pertinent data as needed. Responsible for the safe and accurate loading/unloading and transporting of dry ice products. Including but not limited to maneuvering equipment up to 500 lbs with a hand truck and ability to work overhead regularly. Obtains required signatures from customers as needed. Equipment type:
Pay: starts at $29 based on experience Regional area of coverage: New England Region Active CDL B with at least 1 year CMV experience within the last 4 years. Or recent graduate from an accredited CDL School within the past 1 year. No exceptions. At least 22 years old. No preventable accidents of any kind in the last 3 years. No more than 2 minor tickets in the last 3 years. No serious violation ticket (speeding 15+, reckless driving, etc.) in the last 3 years. No suspensions of CDL in the last 3 years except for "Failure to pay child support". No DUI in the last 7 years. High school diploma or equivalent (GED) preferred. Must be able to lift up to 60 pounds and maneuver up to 500lbs with a hand truck. Safety Matters:
