Job Summary This position will be responsible for providing management and oversight, including on-site support, for their assigned supply base. The Supplier Quality Engineer is responsible for identifying and mitigating supplier risks, ensuring on time and accurate submission of Supplier Deliverable Documentation Requirements, analyze defects, and conduct root cause analysis as applicable to eliminate defects and improve product quality, cost and schedule. Process and quality system audits to ensure compliance to specifications and documented procedures. Assess suppliers' capabilities and capacity and identify supplier risks. Support and/or witness of first article acceptance testing as applicable by program needs.
