Genesys is seeking a strategic, financially-minded leader to join our Business Transformation Team. As Senior Director, Transformation and Value Realization, you will lead the development of high-impact business cases and partner across the organization to ensure initiatives drive measurable ROI and sustainable value. This role is central to how Genesys identifies, funds, executes, and governs transformation priorities across the enterprise.

You will work closely with senior and executive stakeholders to align transformation initiatives with corporate goals, ensuring resources are directed to the areas of highest impact. Your expertise in financial modeling, value tracking, and stakeholder alignment will be key to influencing strategic investments and unlocking operational efficiencies.

Location: Remote within U.S. (not limited to the states that the job is tagged to)

Key Responsibilities:

  • Business Case Development: Lead the creation of robust business cases for transformation initiatives, incorporating financial modeling, cost-benefit analysis, risk scenarios, and success metrics.
  • Value Realization Planning: Define measurable value drivers and develop structured approaches to forecast, track, and report ROI across initiatives.
  • Strategic Prioritization: Assess initiative feasibility and impact to inform portfolio-level prioritization and sequencing of transformation programs.
  • Initiative Execution: Oversee cross-functional execution of initiatives from design through implementation, ensuring realization of anticipated business outcomes.
  • Financial Performance Tracking: Build and manage dashboards and analytic frameworks to track initiative impact on KPIs, cost optimization, revenue growth, and customer experience improvements.
  • Stakeholder Engagement: Influence and align executive stakeholders on investment decisions and value expectations; ensure clarity on success criteria and benefits realization plans.
  • Risk Management & Accountability: Identify and resolve blockers to value delivery; ensure commitments are met on time and within budget.
  • Transformation Standards: Champion best practices in business case development, value realization, governance, and benefits tracking across the organization.

Qualifications:

  • Experience: 10+ years of experience in transformation leadership, strategic finance, corporate development, or management consulting.
  • Business Acumen: Deep understanding of business models, financial analysis, and ROI-driven decision-making.
  • Execution Excellence: Proven track record in delivering cross-functional, high-value initiatives-preferably in SaaS or cloud environments.
  • Analytical Expertise: Strong financial modeling skills and proficiency with Excel; experience with tools like Tableau, Power BI, or similar platforms.
  • Strategic Communication: Ability to distill complex data into compelling business insights and influence senior leaders to take action.
  • SaaS Transformation: Familiarity with SaaS metrics and how transformation initiatives drive recurring revenue, retention, and efficiency.
  • Change Leadership: Collaborative, persuasive, and comfortable navigating ambiguity in dynamic, global organizations.
  • People Leadership: Experience building and developing teams, particularly in business operations, transformation, or strategy roles.

Preferred Attributes:

  • MBA or equivalent advanced degree in finance, strategy, or operations.
  • Prior experience developing investment cases and portfolio-level governance in a technology or software company.

Compensation:

This role has a market-competitive salary with an anticipated base compensation range listed below. Actual salaries will vary depending on a candidate's experience, qualifications, skills, and location. This role might also be eligible for a commission or performance-based bonus opportunities.

$180,400.00 - $335,000.00
