ReNuke Services is seeking a Senior Project Controls Cost for our client"s site in Charlotte, NC!

Open to Raleigh, Charlotte, and St. Petersburg locations

DESCRIPTION:
This is the expert level of the Project Controls classification hierarchy. Workers at this level perform complex aspects of individual scheduling, project forecasting, cost alignment to schedules, cost analysis, variance analysis, change control and cost control while reporting up to program or portfolio level as well as trains and teaches other members of PC organization with minimal oversight and wide latitude for unreviewed work. This position typically is assigned to projects classified as 'Green' per the Project Management Center of Excellence Project Profile Matrix with a high level of complexity. Workers are expected to have advanced skills and the ability to work independently, with guidance limited to unusual or complex projects or issues. Strong communication skills and the ability to collaborate in a matrix working environment and with multiple levels of leadership are critical for this individual"s success.
The ideal candidate will be comfortable navigating and contributing within Waterfall, Agile, and Wagile project management frameworks.

Responsibilities & Duties: include, but are not limited to:
* Ensure compliance with internal financial policies and external regulatory requirements.
* Develop, maintain, and analyze project cost estimates, forecasts, and budgets across multiple project types.
* Collaborate with project managers, schedulers, and finance teams to ensure cost control processes are integrated with project planning and execution.
* Monitor and report on cost performance, identifying variances and recommending corrective actions.
* Gathers input and information for projects. Works with project team members to obtain information regarding the status and health of assigned projects.
* Aid in the preparation of the 5 Year Portfolio Plan by ensuring the schedules and forecasts are in line with the approved timing that supports the plan.
* Generates monthly project reports that drive discussion with PM and Project Team, including P6 and cost reports.
* Generates periodic Project Controls reports.
* Distributes and archives project documents.
* Work with estimator(s) to create (or creates) project cost estimate in order to establish effective cost controls management. Assure that project estimate includes all necessary raw materials, resource / labor rates, manufactured materials / equipment as well as current industry data relative to project scope. Manage the estimate according to PMCoE Estimating Standard and review cycle.
* Maintains effective relationships with customers and supports the resolution of quality issues
* Proficient in conflict resolution and reaches positive outcomes among team members.
