Apply U.S. Generally Accepted AccountingPrinciples (GAAP), U.S. Generally Accepted Auditing Standards (GAAS), andPublic Company Accounting Oversight Board (PCAOB)Auditing Standards. Evaluate the work requirements of audits for clients, includingSecurities and Exchange Commission (SEC) registrants. Identify accounting andaudit risks. Write audit reports and present findings to clients andupper management. Assess effectiveness of client audit processes and controls.Identify performance improvement opportunities for assigned clients. Prepareaudit proposals and expand client base by identifying growing clientportfolios. Provide training and guidance on audit methodology and U.S. GAAPtechnical accounting. Provide technical guidance and timelyperformance feedback to team members. Assist with tasks related to accountadministration, including billing, fee analysis, and new service development. Directand lead audit engagements. Create business development opportunities. Supportclient relationships and develop professional networks. WORK SCHEDULE: 40 hours per week, M-F (9:00 a.m.-5:00 p.m.) JOBREQUIREMENTS: Must have a Master's degree or foreign equivalent inAccounting, Finance, Business Administration, Management, or a related field,and 3 years of related work experience; OR a Bachelor's degree or foreign equivalent in Accounting, Finance,Business Administration, Management, or a related field, and 7 years of relatedwork experience, out of which 5 years must be post-bachelor's, progressive related work experience. Must have an active Massachusetts CPA license. Of the required experience, must have 3 years of experiencewith the following: Overseeing audit engagements; Developing and executingaudit strategies and procedures; Applying U.S. GAAP, U.S. GAAS, and PCAOB Auditing standards; and Testingaccounting procedures and communicating findings to clients and uppermanagement. Travel to various locations throughout the U.S. required upto 5%. Employer will accept any suitable combination of education,training, or experience.
