Seneca Foods Corporation in Dayton, WAis seeking a full-time Lead Warehouse Clerk in our seed production facility.

Seneca provides safe working conditions, paid overtime over 40 hours per week, and on-the-job training.

The expected compensation range for this position is $20.00-$25.00 per hour, depending upon skills & experience.

Responsible for data entry to track finished goods and supply inventory quantities, initiating shipping and receiving duties, and taking responsibility for lead duties within the department.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS, RESPONSIBILITIES, OR JOB DUTIES:

* Maintain current and accurate inventories of all finished goods, label, and carton inventories

* Prepare shipping orders, and ensure proper labeling of shipments

* Assist Warehouse Manager as needed

* Process UPS shipments and receipts

* Prepare and distribute daily reports of all activity regarding finished goods, labels/cartons, production, labeling out of stock, shipments, receipts, damage, salvage and adjustments

* Prepare monthly reports and reconciliations of shipments, salvage inventories and labeling costs

* Lead shipping department, take responsibility for success of the department, present information about the department to plant management

* Other duties as assigned

QUALIFICATIONS:

* Basic Math and Accounting Skills

* Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite

* Good written and verbal communication skills

* High School Diploma or equivalent

* Associates degree or equivalent preferred

EXPERIENCE:

* Previous experience in related field is beneficial, but not required
