Hayden Grove of St. Anthony is seeking dedicated Resident Assistants to support our residents in a warm and welcoming senior living community. We currently have openings for a full-time PM shift and a part-time overnight shift.

As a Resident Assistant, you'll provide personal care, companionship, and assistance with daily living, helping our residents maintain dignity and independence in both an assisted living and memory care setting. Shifts Available:

  • Full-Time PM (2:00 PM - 10:00 PM)

  • Part-Time Overnight (10:00 PM - 6:00 AM)

Resident Assistant Job Details:

  • Hours - 2:00pm-10:00pm, 10:00pm-6:00am
  • Pay Range - $18-22/hr

Resident Assistant Job Objective(s):

The Resident Assistant is responsible for providing hands-on care, both physical and emotional, as outlined in each resident's service agreement. Responsible for effectively communicating with residents, families, and notifying the Director of Nursing of any changes in condition or concerns. The Resident Assistant will be expected to pass medication (training provided)

Resident Assistant Job Responsibilities:

  • Assist residents with ADL's (Activities of Daily Living) as indicated on the individualized service agreement including medication administration.
  • Help each resident to reach and maintain the highest level of performance and independence.
  • Provide residents with both physical and emotional support.
  • Assist with treatments as delegated by the Registered Nurse per the resident service agreement
  • The Resident Assistant observes clients and reports changes in physical and emotional condition such as change in attitude, loss of appetite, weight, etc. to the Director of Nursing.
  • Interactwith residents to provide reassurance, engagement, and redirection as appropriate.
  • Complete all required documentation daily, service schedule, flow sheet, communication book, etc.

Qualifications:

  • Six months of experience in long term care or assisted living residence (Preferred)
  • Registered as a Nursing Assistant, Home Health Aid or Certified Nursing Assistant (Preferred)
  • Ability to make responsible choices and decisions and act in the resident's best interests.
