Genesis10 is currently seeking a Network/System Engineer with our client in the financial industry located in Richmond, VA, Charlotte, NC and Chandler, AZ. This is a 12+ month contract position. Responsibilities: Responsible for scheduling, coordinating and troubleshooting VM migrations in a production VMware based Cloud service on Client and Dell server hardware Requirements: 2+ years' experience supporting and troubleshooting issues for VMware vSphere and ESXi 7.x and 8.x beyond VM support Strong networking, infrastructure knowledge and troubleshooting ability Excellent oral and written communication skills Excellent organization skills Experience in executing technical strategy Ability to work in a high pressure environment where time to deliver is of paramount importance Meticulous attention to detail Experience in planning and implementing large technical projects Ability to follow, define, document and implement technical procedures Strong understanding and experience with security and authentication of VMWare and hardware interfaces Strong understanding and ability to work to an ITIL framework Experience in communication with and working on global teams within large organization Pay range: $50.55 - $58.55 Only candidates available and ready to work directly as Genesis10 employees will be considered for this position.
