Leads the technical design and configuration of the enterprise scheduling systems for production systems. Establishes technical methods, integrate and configure advanced operational processes to support schedules within our production and non-production environment under the direction of the Team Lead. Responsible for production and non-production requirements for critical paths, error resolution and delays. Handles application level issues and provides appropriate solutions to maintain stability and availability within our infrastructure. Maintains technical methods knowledge base for batch and implementation procedures, rules and changes to environment. SKILLS* Designs, implements and maintains technical processes, procedures and custom interfaces to support the job scheduling system in all environments. These responsibilities include the technical design, coding and implementation of custom processes and interfaces for operational and production processing. * Maintains implementation of production job schedules, integrations and Technical Standards Knowledge Base. This includes the analysis of processes to identify potential problems with delivery of operational services and partnership with other departments for optimization of process flows. * Reviews all procedures to ensure that they conform to the existing GEHA standards. * Evaluates additions, revisions, and deletions to batch processing integration with technical methods. Anticipates impact of errors and changes on batch processing schedules. Provides early warning to IT staff and customers. * Attends and actively participates in weekly Change Control Meetings with all IT departments and reports activities relating to changes in Production Control. * Provides on-call support on rotation Required skills 4+ years of technical or process scheduling experience in a distributed operating environment. Experience working with production applications and scheduling systems, knowledge of server administration with the current version of Windows Server, Visual Basic, XML, SQL, FTP/SFTP Strong knowledge of Powershell and Windows batch scripting procedures. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills Excellent verbal, written and professional communication skills to exchange information and provide technical expertise. Preferred Experience Experience with Azure cloud technology Experience with Control-M SaaS or other cloud-based orchestration tool Required Education Four-year degree in computer science or related field.
