Summary:
The field operations assistant is responsible for Validating, Coding, and Routing all production field operations personnel vendor tickets in the OpenTicket platform. Other responsibilities include: running weekly cost reports for field personnel as needed, assisting production reporting team with the field oil and water transport tickets and shipping/delivering to Midland corporate office, data entry into various systems, managing and maintaining field office supplies and organization.

Job Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Provide a wide variety of administrative and staff support services to one or more field office sites
  • Operate office equipment/software applications for self and/or others including the preparation of special reports or other departmental documents
  • Assists field team & operations with activities and assignments as needed at the discretion of field management
  • Follows established procedures and detailed instructions to complete routine and complex tasks
  • Collects information, performs data entry, and reviews reports or documentation for accuracy
  • Assist managers with the coding and invoicing process as well as entering costs into our internal tracking system
  • Maintains office supply, field office organization and inventories, and coordinates the maintenance of office equipment
  • Exhibits a professional attitude both verbally and in writing along with excellent communication skills and attention to detail

Required Qualifications:

  • High School Diploma or GED
  • Five (5+) years of related administrative experience
  • Five (5+) years of demonstrable experience working with Microsoft Office Suite including Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and Outlook
  • Excellent written, verbal, listening, communication, and interpersonal skills
  • Excellent data entry skills

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Prior experience as an administrative assistant working for an oil and gas company
  • Ability to be proactive in identifying and addressing issues
  • Ability to work in fast-paced environment and meet deadlines
  • Ability to juggle competing priorities, multi-task and change direction in a variety of workplace situations
  • Ability to adapt to changing technologies and work in a dynamic and fast-paced environment

This position is not eligible for relocation assistance.
