HDR is seeking an entry level subcontract administrator to join our Procurement Group in Omaha, Nebraska. This position will assist with administration of service subcontracts and purchase orders for goods/services, in support of commercial client contracts.
Other responsibilities will include but are not limited to: * Prepare purchase orders for goods and services, assist with processing purchase orders for subcontract agreements, including entering data in the Oracle EBS requisition and purchasing modules. * Coordinate appropriate reviews, as required, of subcontract agreements and negotiated terms and conditions. * Prepare and maintain the procurement file in accordance with HDR's procurement policies and applicable contract and regulatory requirements. (approved requisition, executed agreement, insurance certificate, business status certification, etc.) * Assist with conducting procurement file audits. * Develop and maintain effective relationships with project team members, management, clients, and support organizations. * Assist in providing guidance to all levels of internal personnel concerning procurement processes and requirements. * Assist with subcontract closeout activities in accordance with HDR's procurement processes. * Provide support to other subcontract administrators as requested.
Preferred Qualifications
- BA/BS degree in Business or related field required
- Previous experience in lieu of degree is acceptable.
- A team player with strong verbal/written communication and collaboration skills.
- Detail oriented and quality conscious.
- Bachelor's degree in business, engineering or other applicable major; previous experience in lieu of a degree is acceptable.
- Previous experience in procurement.
- Prior administrative and/or customer service experience.
- Proficiency in MS Office Suite including Outlook and Excel, the ability to edit and create PDF documents, and the ability to work with databases and spreadsheet software.
