Responsibilities

Sabre Systems is seeking a mid-level Contracts Administrator with DoD contracting and subcontracting experience to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a working knowledge of FAR, DFARS, various contract types, purchasing processes, NDAs (Non-Disclosure Agreements), and Teaming Agreements, as well as familiarity with Contractor Purchasing System Review (CPSR) requirements. This role requires the ability to analyze contract requirements, draft contractual instruments, and ensure compliance with applicable laws, regulations, and corporate policies.

  • Administer routine or standard form contract agreements, NDAs, and Teaming Agreements in accordance with established contract policies and procedures.
  • Analyze contract requirements, special provisions, terms, and conditions to ensure compliance with appropriate laws, regulations, and corporate policies.
  • Draft contractual instruments, including NDAs, Teaming Agreements, purchase orders, and other agreements, using prescribed templates and guidelines.
  • Communicate contract policy and practices to internal business teams and subcontractors.
  • Ensure contract review, approval, and execution in accordance with corporate guidelines.
  • Prepare and administer routine correspondence, negotiation memoranda, and contract documentation.
  • Maintain organized contract records and files documenting contract performance and compliance.
  • Conduct research to support contract audits and/or facilitate contracting trend metrics.
  • Perform contract closeout activities, ensuring all deliverables and obligations are met.
  • Collaborate with senior contract professionals and internal teams on issues and developments related to assigned contracts.

Qualifications

Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration, Contract Management, or a related field and 3-5 years of experience, OR 7 years of experience in lieu of a degree.

Experience:

  • Working knowledge of DoD contracting and subcontracting processes.
  • Familiarity with FAR and DFARS regulations.
  • Understanding of various contract types (e.g., Fixed Price, Cost Reimbursement, Time & Materials).
  • Experience with NDAs, Teaming Agreements, and purchasing processes.
  • Familiarity with CPSR requirements is a plus.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and SharePoint.
  • Knowledge of Deltek Costpoint products, especially Purchase Requisition/Purchase Orders and Cognos reporting, is preferred.

Skills:

  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Detail-oriented with the ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines effectively.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.

Other Requirements:

  • Must be a U.S. Citizen.
  • Candidate must pass a background investigation
  • Travel requirement: 0-5%.
