Overview
Types medical reports as needed, including stat reports. Types reports that need to be completed within Carle. Efficiently works Pends with blanks or a hold status. All transcription and pends will be done using transcription guidelines, standards for style and practice for dictation generated by physicians, nurse practitioners, nurses, office assistants, and other personnel. Qualifications Certifications: , Education: Associate's Degree: Related Field; Experience In Lieu of Education, Work Experience: Medical transcriptionist Responsibilities Accesses Carle systems as needed to complete reports or letters. Complete Excel sheet on blanks/ADT errors, etc. for communication to transcriptionists and vendor. Creates hospital H & P's from office notes as needed. Maintains a positive relationship with both internal and external customers. Executes and completes Pends. Reconcile previous day's dictations in the EMR to make sure they are filed correctly and with proper format. Responds to EMR work list and email. Runs report of unsigned hospital reports transcribed for 48 hours. Prints and/or faxes unsigned copies. Types medical reports, including stats as needed following specific guidelines. Types reports that cannot be outsourced. Checks eSmartlog for Mental Health requests and emails appropriate provider to release records. Works Epic MyCarle inbox and responds according to criteria. Compensation and Benefits The compensation range for this position is $16.52per hour - $26.76per hour. This represents a good faith minimum and maximum range for the role at the time of posting by Carle Health. The actual compensation offered a candidate will be dependent on a variety of factors including, but not limited to, the candidate's experience, qualifications, location, training, licenses, shifts worked and compensation model.
