Add to favorites Favorited View favorites Pay Grade/Pay Range: Minimum: $35.67 - Midpoint: $48.17 (Hourly N12) Department/Organization: 204714 - Autism Spectrum Disorders Clinic Normal Work Schedule: Monday - Friday; one day/week Job Summary: The Occupational Therapist PT plans and administers prescribed occupational therapy treatments to assist patients and students to improve or restore their maximum functional level on a part-time basis. Additional Department Summary: The University of Alabama Autism Spectrum Disorders Clinic (UA-ASD Clinic) provides support to individuals and families affected by Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD) and associated mental health concerns through comprehensive evaluation and intervention services, research opportunities, and professional training and in-services for parents and professionals. The clinic serves clients and their families between the ages of 18 months and 22 years of age. Additionally, clinical services are provided for students enrolled at The University of Alabama. Required Minimum Qualifications: Occupational Therapist (OT) License in the State of Alabama in good standing or ability to obtain within two (2) months of hire. Two (2) years of occupational therapy experience. Skills and Knowledge: Experience with clients with Autism Spectrum Disorder. Proficient communication skills. Preferred Qualifications: Experience in an interdisciplinary setting.
