Job Summary

The eCommerce Associate Media Manager will lead the strategy, techniques, and tactics used to increase online revenue through our paid media efforts across Amazon, Walmart and emerging retailer media platforms. In addition to understanding the digital media landscape, you'll be expected to execute media spends in-platform.

Reporting to the eCommerce Media Sr. Manager, this position will be focused on the Global Home Care business unit and work closely with the eCommerce Sales and Marketing teams as well as our media partners. This role is an integral part of an in-house eCommerce media team to drive direct performance results for the Global Home Care business unit.

Primary Duties & Responsibilities

(80%) Campaign Execution & Reporting

Manage retailer sponsored search campaigns while playing a major role in developing and supporting the overall media strategy.



  • Build and manage digital campaigns (search) across Amazon, Walmart and emerging platforms to drive conversion on retailer websites through sponsored product ads
  • Collaborate with retail display counterpart to ensure cohesive strategy across the phases of the funnel
  • Co-develop automated reporting to streamline processes, audit current campaign structure, conduct keyword research and document strategy and process of the team's campaign approach
  • Lead bi-weekly status calls with internal stakeholders and capture follow ups
  • Using real time data-analyze & identify insights to deliver incremental and profitable growth for our brands via retail search and display
  • Be a platform expert on retail media trading platforms - understand and share new or scalable capabilities, utilize existing tools to drive retail media KPIs
  • Utilize supplemental reporting and audiences within Amazon Marketing Cloud to drive conversion
  • Be a thought leader and help us transform what winning looks like via new ideas, processes, and outside-the-box thinking
  • Collaborate and partner with retailers with post campaign analysis to influence future digital campaign strategy
  • Develop annual budget and allocate across brands, categories, retailers, and campaigns to align with business objectives and goals
  • Develop digital marketing and media strategies for joint online sales and marketing plans. Partner closely with sales, marketing and creative teams
  • Create and execute eCommerce media recommendations to support new product launches and tentpole campaigns within the integrated marketing plans
  • Develop and analyze return on investment metrics and campaign analytics

    • Work closely with the Consumer Insights and Analytics Team to project and track ROI and campaign KPIs
    • Develop KPI benchmark tracker by platform
    • Participate in weekly and monthly meetings with stakeholders to share results, insights and learnings
    • Create standardized reporting that translates data into actionable insights and present regularly at Monthly Business Reviews with Brand and Sales stakeholders
    • Communicate with internal stakeholders on trends and pacing, and deliver results against key KPIs




  • Manage campaign optimization efforts and effective digital marketing platform usage
  • Lead the Global Home Care media relationship with Amazon, Walmart and other strategic retail partners as appropriate

  • Track, code and manage invoices, client budgets and spend pacing
  • Develop strong relationships across internal, agency, and platform/publisher partners
  • Monitor consumer and competitive landscape for trends and digital best practices
  • Share best media practices across cross-functional partners
  • Proactively look for ways to build efficiencies and automation into the team workflows, partner with manager to implement those recommendations

Education and Experience Profile

  • Bachelor's degree in Communications, Marketing, Analytics, or equivalent
  • Minimum of 3 years' experience in eCommerce Media, Digital Media or equivalent field

Required Skills

  • Strong communicator who can bridge the gap between data and strategy. Proven experience developing standardized reporting and presenting to stakeholders


  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, as well as strong collaboration abilities enabling relationships with the team
  • Entrepreneurial spirit - an insatiable curiosity to learn
  • Able to digest, analyze, and visualize large sets of data
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Strategically-minded with in-depth "hands-on keyboard" experience in B2C industries, preferably CPG
  • Previous experience with Amazon and Walmart native media platforms and media mix
  • Proven experience taking data-driven approaches to build marketing / media strategy
  • Experience managing portfolio of brands, showing ability to handle multiple tasks, priorities, and deadlines
