Typically, Peer Navigators are students who have successfully adjusted to college life and can draw from their own experiences to assist others in finding the resources and support they need to succeed. The role of a Peer Coach is to empower and encourage students to become self-advocates, take ownership of their academic journey, and feel connected within the campus community. Peer Coaches assist with a wide range of topics including time management, academic support, student services, financial aid navigation, and campus engagement. Peer Coaches are found within enrollment management services. They will work closely with faculty, student success specialist, and student services staff to ensure students receive comprehensive support tailored to their individual needs. Overall, the Peer Coach provides a welcoming and relatable point of contact for students, offering guidance, motivation, and connection to campus resources-ultimately helping students thrive academically, socially, and personally.
