CUSTOMS ANALYST

Are you passionate about global trade and customs compliance? Do you thrive in fast-paced environments dealing with people from different backgrounds? We're looking for a Customs Analyst to support of our global Starlink customs program, ensuring efficient import processes for multiple countries throughout the world. If you're detail-oriented, love problem-solving, and want to make a direct impact on global supply chains, this is the role for you! As part of our team, you'll play a critical role in getting Starlink into the hands of our customers around the world, including managing permits, customs payments, and documentation while navigating customs regulations and international trade laws. You will collaborate with internal and external stakeholders, customs brokers, and government agencies, keeping our international supply chain running smoothly and efficiently.

RESPONSIBILITIES:



  • Work closely with internal and external stakeholders to manage import entries into countries throughout the world
  • Support pre-inspection requests, import permit applications, invoice and payment processing, documentation management, and other shipment-specific import tasks
  • Troubleshoot import holds and respond to international broker questions
  • Audit import entries and, where applicable, work with key stakeholders to drive improvements
  • Support regional Customs Managers with country setups and other strategic trade compliance initiatives
  • Other global trade compliance support, where applicable


BASIC QUALIFICATIONS:



  • Bachelor's degree in business, supply chain, international business, accounting, and/or international trade
  • 1+ years of experience with international trade compliance matters


PREFERRED SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE:



  • Fluency in Spanish or Portuguese
  • Licensed Customs Broker with Department of Homeland Security
  • Knowledge of aerospace and/or telecommunications industry
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills, with a keen eye for detail and process optimization


ADDITIONAL REQUIREMENTS:



  • Must be able to work extended hours and/or weekends when needed to meet business goals
  • This position is based in Hawthorne, CA and requires being onsite - remote work is not considered


COMPENSATION AND BENEFITS:

Pay range:

Customs Analyst/Level I: $80,000.00 - $100,000.00/per year

Customs Analyst/Level II: $90,000.00 - $115,000.00/per year

Your actual level and base salary will be determined on a case-by-case basis and may vary based on the following considerations: job-related knowledge and skills, education, and experience.

Base salary is just one part of your total rewards package at SpaceX. You may also be eligible for long-term incentives, in the form of company stock, stock options, or long-term cash awards, as well as potential discretionary bonuses and the ability to purchase additional stock at a discount through an Employee Stock Purchase Plan.
