We are seeking a Network Engineer Level 2 to join our team to help contribute to our success, help us solve problems with innovation through intelligence, and support assessments of large-scale weapons systems and other national security operations Duties include, but not limited to: 
 
 
     
 Implement specific network solutions to support server requirements to include load balancing, VPN's, firewall contexts, and network address translation (NAT) where appropriateMinimize network latency and maximize data throughput through design analysis and network performance monitoring toolsOptimize end to end system performance and dataflow managementCoordinate with the system engineering and dataflow efforts to ensure proper mission operations to minimize down timeDesign solutions, integrate, configure, deploy, test and provide ongoing maintenance for numerous types of network devices, interfaces and methodologiesConfigure and optimize the network to connect various front-end and back-end components.Facilitate the implementation of high speed, scalable, fault-to-tolerant network topologies as applicable to WAN and LAN designProvide assistance in all aspects of network management from network design through implementation, maintenance and upgrading existing networks.Analyzes design, specification, and related documents and implements communication system requirements to support the distributed functionality of a software engineering environmentAnalyze network characteristics (traffic connect time, transmission speeds, packet sizes and throughput), troubleshoots problems and recommend procurement of, and/or modifications to network components.
Qualifications Required Qualifications 
 
 
     
 BS in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Communications Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Mathematics or Information Systems required8 years' experience as a Network Engineer in programs that encompass system architecture, requirements analysis, process execution and evaluation.3 years of direct experience with IC or SIGINT activityExperience with Cisco IOS or JunOSExperience in developing networks from design through implementationExperience with Ethernet Trunking and configuring Ethernet VLANsExperience in configuring multi-vendor network equipment; Experience with network test gear and testing network equipment; Experience in configuring NAT and Routing Protocols.Ability to demonstrate cyber/IT related experience with attention to detail, customer service, oral and written communication, and problem solving.
 
     
 TS/SCI Full scope polygraph, current CI must be under 6 yrsActive DoD IAT Level II certificationActive Cisco certification
 
 
 Desired Skills 
 
 
     
 Understanding of project design within the scope of security (RMF) requirements
