Engineer (Production Quality), Senior (SED)

Sabre Systems is currently recruiting for an Engineer (Production Quality), Senior to support the Systems Engineering Department (SED) at Patuxent River Naval Air Station in Lexington Park, MD. The program is providing systems engineering support of weapons systems on various platforms including technical research and development of technologies, analysis, and documentation as part of the acquisition of Aircraft, Weapon, and Integrated Systems and the evaluation of their technical performance, mission suitability and associated acquisition risks throughout the full acquisition process and lifecycle of a program.

The selected candidate will be responsible for not limited to:

• Applies engineering knowledge to properly develop planning required to ensure the product meets specifications.
• Requires knowledge of production engineering, process flow, specific process knowledge and the ability to interact with design engineers in an intelligent manner.
• Quality planning involves development and understanding process FMEAs and design FMEAs as an example.
• Will develop control plans, determine inspection equipment needs and participate in the development of automated test procedures.
• Performs tasks with little or no guidance or leads the execution of complex tasks.
• Applies engineering principles to investigate, analyze, plan and design, develop, implement, test, or evaluate military weapons systems.
• Reviews and prepares engineering and technical analyses, reports, change proposals, training and other technical documentation.
• This person will develop training and train civilian personnel in topics such as production engineering, quality planning, and inspection requirements.

Requirements:

• Must have a master's degree in a technical or in an engineering or applied sciences discipline from an accredited college or university.
• Must have at least ten (10) years of recent and relevant professional experience with production quality assurance, production engineering, process flow, specific process knowledge, quality planning, control plan development, inspection equipment and automated test procedures.
• Must have an active DoD Secret Clearance or higher.
• Must be a US Citizen
